Hi angel! I’m Starcissa (pronounced “Star-see-suh”), a dreamy Y2K kawaii artist, singer, creative director, digital designer, model, and licensed tattoo artist. ♡
Born in Japan and raised between Japanese, Hawaiian, Filipino, and Black American cultures, I grew up surrounded by kawaii culture, Sanrio, magical girl anime, Y2K fashion, music, and the early internet. Those influences continue to inspire everything I create today.
For over 15 years, I’ve been creating dreamy worlds inspired by internet girlhood, retro futurism, hyperfemininity, nostalgia, self-expression, and imagination. My work blends kawaii aesthetics, dreamy visuals, music, fashion, beauty, and digital creativity into whimsical worlds designed to be fun, girly, and c♡♡l.
These days, you’ll find me creating artwork, recording music, designing tattoos, crafting jewelry and resin pieces, experimenting with fashion and makeup, building creative projects, and sharing little pieces of my world online.
